PROFILE
Steven Kuehl, a Partner in BOL’s Litigation Group, is an experienced litigator who has tried and won cases before juries, judges, and arbitrators. Steve’s practice focuses on complex business and real estate litigation with a particular emphasis on title issues, cannabis issues, lender issues, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract litigation, officer and director liability, partnership disputes, commercial lease issues, and trade secrets actions. Steve enjoys the chess match of litigation, advocating for victims of wrongdoing, and tirelessly defending his clients’ interests in a wide range of civil matters.
Steve’s clients range from individuals and start-ups to sophisticated entities. He prosecutes and defends claims at all stages from pre-litigation to litigation and on appeal. He strives to develop effective and efficient strategies to meet each client’s specific goals while providing his clients with straightforward, practical advice.
Prior to joining BOL, Steve worked at Cunningham, Treadwell & Bartelstone from 2010 to 2015, where he represented Fortune 100 banks, title insurance companies, escrow companies, and individuals. He was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Debre K. Weintraub.
In his free time, Steve enjoys following the financial markets, snowboarding, surfing, visiting new tiki bars, and supporting his beloved Minnesota Vikings.
