Amanda D. McGee
ATTORNEY AT LAW
Amanda D. McGee is a seasoned attorney in BOL’s Litigation Group. She is licensed to practice in both California state and federal courts and handles a variety of litigation matters, including employment, business, real estate, and constructions disputes. Amanda has significant experience with mediation, arbitration, and trial, including bench and jury trials.
Amanda recognizes the deep personal effect litigation has on her clients and understands that lawsuits are often fraught with heavy emotion. Inspired by her mom’s own discrimination and wrongful termination claims brought against her former employer following a courageous bout with breast cancer, Amanda emphasizes empathy, care, and compassion for every single client so they know they have a spirited advocate in their corner at times when they are often most vulnerable. Along the same lines, Amanda prioritizes consistent communication with her clients so that they can effectively participate in all stages of litigation and feel confident that their legal needs are being met.
Amanda served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Ronald S. Coen in Los Angeles and represented plaintiffs and defendants at both national “Big Law” firms and small boutique law offices. Because Amanda has a wide range of experience representing parties on each side of the “v”, she understands her opponents’ incentives and strategies and tailors her approach to each case to effectively counter the same.
Since 2021, Amanda has regularly been named a “Rising Star” in the area of civil litigation by Super Lawyers, an honor awarded to only the top 2.5% of Southern California lawyers under the age of 40.
Outside of the courtroom, Amanda spends her time traveling, volunteering at her son’s elementary school, and taking frequent trips to Disneyland.
