Elyssa Schroer is a Senior Human Resources Business Partner who works closely with BOL’s Employment attorneys to provide clients with compliant and business-aligned HR support. 

With over a decade of experience in HR, Elyssa has supported organizations of all sizes across a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, and start-ups. Having served both as part of large HR teams and as an HR department of one, she understands the realities and pressures that clients face at every stage of growth. 

Elyssa’s work focuses on compliance, policy development, performance management, and employee relations. Known for being exceptionally risk-adverse in the best sense, Elyssa helps clients anticipate issues before they arise and make thoughtful, well-supported decisions that protect both people and the organization. 

Outside of work, Elyssa enjoys Pilates, exploring new restaurants and culinary experiences, and spending time with her husband and adorable dog.
